Abstract
Road capacity analysis provides the guideline of design and basic data for highway planning design and traffic control management.The methods of signalized intersection capacity are introduced firstly in this paper.And then according to the investigation and observation data of Taiping Bridge Y-intersection in Harbin,the relevant analysis method is adopted,the access way capacity of different directions is separately calculated in the view of the specific distribution of lane function and after that signalized Y-Intersection capacity is done.And on the basis of this,the index of LOS(Level of Service) is applied to quantify the status quo of traffic service facility(Taiping Bridge),which provides the standard for appraising the efficiency of signalized intersection.
