Abstract
Psychological harmony ,the decivive factor of which is the harmony of each level of self-awareness,is one of the basic elements of social harmonies.Analysing the status quo of the congtemporary Chinese people suggest that lacking of a higher level of spiritual selfto intergrat other lower levers of self-awareness is the most most fundamental reason of individual psychological distress.The Confucian,Taoist and Zen culture’s consciousness of the cosmic-self and other lower levers of self-awareness,have great vaules in both theroy and practice to improve the contemporary Chinese people's psychological harmony.
