Abstract

On the basis of the former researchers' achievements,we took the Mesozoic of Yuqi block in northern Tarim basin as an example, using integrated core data and general well logs(Natural gamma,Spontaneous potential and Resistivity curves),comprehensively analyzed the amplitude, shape, curve smoothness, portfolio characteristics and contact relationships of the well logs, and identified a variety of sedimentary facies, which is of great significance for the further study of sedimentary microfacies and features of the reservoir sands, the analysis of oil and gas accumulation, the control trap conditions, and the classification of favorable sedimentary facies and delineation of favorable oil region.
