Abstract

Bituminous coal combustion was taken apart volatile and char combustion in a fixed-bed reactor.Studied NO release characteristics of volatile-N and char-N combustion respectively, and evaluated the relative contribution of volatile-N and char-N to NO formation of coal combustion.Coal-N, volatile-N and char-N conversion increases with excess air coefficient and temperature increases.Volatile-N is the primary resources during bituminous coal combustion.The coal-N conversion fraction is less than the total conversion fraction of volatile-N and char-N.Reciprocity is more stronger between volatile and char during coal combustion with oxidization atmosphere increases.
