Abstract
Using rain proof installations, with 311-BD-saturation optimum design, during 2003~2006,field experiments of water and fertilizer coupling on spring corn yield were conducted in semi-arid areas of western Liaoning province. Results show that nitrogen quantity was the chief factor to affect spring corn yield, phosphorus quantity was the second factor, irrigation quantity was the third factor. The effect order of interaction is:water and phosphorus couplingnitrogen and phosphorus couplingwater and nitrogen coupling.Amounts for highest yield 14298.36 kg/hm2 were nitrogen 285.49 kg/hm2,phosphorus 128.79 kg/hm2 and with lower irrigation limit of 69.29% field capacity.
