On the Development and Revelation of Popular Sovereignty Theory

Abstract

The popular sovereignty theory has undergone three developing phases,Locke initiated the viewpoint of popular sovereignty which is characterized as revolting right by people.Rousseau raised the theory of popular sovereignty based on public willing,and Habermas developed it into the thoughts of popular sovereignty that revolves around the consulting or procedure.the active probe by three thinkers has put forward the development.of the theory of popular sovereignty as the core value of constitutionalism.
