Abstract

The extraction performance and mechanism of Cu( II) with N,N,N',N'- tetrabutyl- thiodiglycolamide in toluene were studied. The influence of the concentration of acid or alkali,TBTDGA and the temperature on the extraction had been investigated. The results showed that when the concentration of NH3·H2O was very low the extraction distribution ratio of Cu( II) will much higher. Extraction distribution increased with the increase of extractant concentration. The distribution ratio increased with the increase of temperature and the extraction reaction was endothermic.
