Method of Reinforcing Kidney and Recieving Qi in Treatment of COPD in Stable Stage

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of method of reinforcing kidney to receive qi on patients with COPD in stable condition. Methods: A total of 32 patients were divided into two groups according to the order into the group. The control group was given the treatment of Seretide,and the observation group was given the treatment of reinforcing kidney to receive qi on the basis of the control group. Patients with kidney- yang deficiency were given Shenqi Pill,and patients with kidney- yin deficiency were given Baihe Gujin Decoction on the basis of Renshen Gejie Powder. The changes of TCM syndrome score,lung function and quality of life were observed. Results: After treatment,TCM syndrome scores of two groups gradually declined. 3 months,6 months and one year after treatment,the differences had statistical significance( P 0. 05). After treatment,lung functions of two groups both were improved and the differences in groups had statistical significance( P 0. 05). Among two groups,the differences of FEV1 had statistical significance( P 0. 05),and the differences of FVC and FEV1 expectation ratio had no statistical significance( P 0. 05). After treatment,the SGRQ scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences had statistical significance( P 0. 05). Conclusion: TCM of reinforcing kidney to receive qi can improve the clinical symptoms and lung function of patients with COPD in stable condition,increase life quality and clinical efficacy is superior to pure western medicine.
