Landscape pattern analysis on the urban green space system of Tongren City based on GIS

Based on the Quick Bird data of 2004,the landscape structure and landscape pattern of urban green space systems of Tongren City were analyzed by the Fragstats 3.3 software as well as RS and GIS technologies.The results showed that:there were more fragments in urban green space of Tongren City in general and a few of greenland types(other green space and agricultural land) occupying the dominant position.The greenland of built-up area was integral,the landscape diversity level of built-up area was higher than that of planning area.There were significant differences between the landscapes of built-up areas and suburbs.The parks and other green space were distributed in agglomerate.The agricultural land and other green space played a leading role in suburbs.In the city level,the aggregation of parks and other green space were supreme but the green space attached to urban road was distributed in discrete form.The road planting and green river construction were suggested to be strengthened in the construction of urban green space in the future.And the better ecological corridor should be formed between different plaques,urban artificial green land and external natural green space system.
