Countermeasures and Ways of Cultural Protection and Development in Urban Space

The cultural symptoms such as historical heritage destruction,distortion and anaemia prevail in urban space with the fast pace of urbanization.Meeting with the situation of drastic growth of cultural needs,cultural activities and cultural construction,we find that relevant planning theory,policies and methods lag behind.This paper begins with an ontological exposition about urban culture,proceeds with antypological analysis of spatial culture and cultural inventorying of urban space,thus expounds and proposes concrete policy and route to protect and construct the urban spatial culture,or the cultural urban space.
