Abstract

This paper proposes a carrier-frequency offset estimation algorithm for separating carrier and code phase. The algorithm can estimate quickly carrier-frequency of satellite signal at a high-accuracy level. The algorithm multiplies signal I by Q directly to reach the aim of binary code phase separation after Digital Down Conversion(DDC).Then, the exact estimation of carrier-frequency offset is accomplished by FFT spectrum analysis and fine frequency estimation. The simulation experiments demonstrate that the algorithm can capture high dynamic spread spectrum signal, and that it is easy to operation and applicable to the development of navigation receiver. Moreover,it provides a new approach for the research on Low Earth Orbit(LEO) communication.
