Abstract
For the construction of long-span steel truss arch,side span steel truss needs to provide extremely large overturning moment during the erection of steel truss girders.So a new construction method is introduced, in which side span steel truss arch is supported by temporary piers;cross is installed using slings,and the entire bridge is closed at the middle of the span at last.
