A Study on Development Status of and Countermeasures to Festival Sports in Minority Regions along China-Vietnam Border——With Pinxiang City as an Example

The geographical position of Pinxiang City plays a helpful role in developing special sports among Chinese and Vietnamese minority groups.But sports facilities in the city are inadequate and of poor quality.The local government does not fully support minority sports and does not have measures to ensure these sports,which restrain the development of festival sports in minority regions along the border.Suggestions are proposed to focus on create special sports culture brand: enhance the construction,management and utilization of public sports facilities,strengthen the promotion and impact of bilateral sport activities between China and Vietnam,and make full use of existing exchange platform between the two countries.
