Effects of Pantoprazole Only and Its Combination with Famotidine in the Treatment of Patients with Reflux Esophagitis

Abstract

Objective To compare the curative effects of Pantoprazole only or its combination with Famotidine applied to Reflux Esophagitis patients.Methods 46 patients with Reflux Esophagitis were administered Pantoprazole only or its combination with Famotidine.Results The symptom alleviation rate and esophagitis gastroscope concrescence rate were not obviously different.Conclusion The method of applying Pantoprazole combined with Famotidine to treat reflux esophagitis can draw on the strong points each other to domenate the acid reflux effectively during day and night.Moreover the moderate cost is fair and acceptable by patients.
