Clinical Observation on 76 Cases of Chronic Gastritis Treated with Combination of TCM and Western Medicine

Abstract

AIMS: To observe the clinical curative effects of conventional treatment with combination of TCM and western medicine on chronic gastritis. METHODS: to divide Randomly the 76 patients who have such symptom into two groups, one for treatment and the other for comparison. The comparison group will be given the western medicine only, on the contrary, the treatment group will be treated with combination of TCM and western medicine. RESULTS: the effective rate in the treatment group is 86.5%, and 59.0% in the comparison group. The result of x2 examination for both groups is p 0.05. CONCLUSION: Curative effect of the combination of TCM and western medicine on chronic gastritis is superior than that only received western medicine treatment.
