Mode and policy for rural tourism accelerating building a new socialist countryside

Rural tourism plays an important role in increasing the income and creating job opportunities for peasants,improving rural environment,protecting rural cultural heritages,enhancing the makings of the peasants.Based on the experience of country members of UNWTO,this paper summarizes the rules of how rural tourism promotes building a new socialist countryside,explores the optimum mode in rural tourism development—the CBD(community-based development)mode,then proposes some government policies according to the goals of building a new socialist countryside.
