Abstract
Through repollination and treat of GA 3,intergeneric hybrids of T.aestivum with Ae.vavilovii RM0286 and Ae.vavilovii RM0291 were respectively produced.The seed setting percentage of two cross combinations were 39.84% and 41.22% respectively,which reflected high crossing ability between T.aestivum and Ae.vavilovii .The F 1 hybrids were intermediate between their parents in morphology and exhibited strong vitality.The microsporogenesis of F 1 hybrids was quite chaotic.There were less bivalents at meiotic MI of PMC than expected,and no multivalent had been found.Both the laggards at meiotic AI and the micronudeoli in tetrad were showed at high frequency,moreover.There was much multipole division in tetrad to produce a lot of polyards.The abortion of hybrid pollens occurred at every stage of pollen development in different frequency,but the initial and critical stage of abortion was at the stage of pollen with a single eccentric nucleus,it was confirmed in the experiment that the abortion of pollen was one of important factors which results in the low sterility of F 1 hybrids.
