Abstract
Aim To synthesize chelating fiber with Multi-donor Atoms via the modification of the Polyacrylonitrile. Methods Study the adsorption properties of chelating fiber and the effects on the value of equilibrium pH for Cu(Ⅱ) ion. Results The results revealed the adsorption isotherm of Cu(Ⅱ) ion on the chelating fiber was of the Freundlich-type equations in the range of Cu(Ⅱ) ion concentrations under investigation. Conclusion This chelating fiber has good chemical kinetic property and the adsorption capacities of chelating fiber for Cu(Ⅱ) ion are 137.5 mg/g when the pH is 4.0.
