Abstract

Investigation of greening plants used for urban vertical greening in Hainan showed that there were 101 species of vertical greening plants,belonging to 76 genera,38 families.Among the total species,23 species are shrubs,60 species are lianas and 18 species are gramineous plants or herbs.The current application situation in the urban vertical greening in Hainan Island is briefly analyzed and the applications of some species are concisely introduced in the paper.
