Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of the repair of the burn granulation wound located at special areas of body surface by auto-grafting the large sheet of split skin with local FE enzyme therapy.Methods All the 78 cases with burn granulation wound located at special areas of body surface were included in this study.All of these wounds were treated with FE composite enzyme to eradicate the local infection,then debrided completely.Finally,the wounds were all covered with large sheet of auto split skin.Results Local bacterial culture showed negative after use of the FE composite enzyme in all 78 cases.Auto skin grafting survived in 75 cases(96.15%).Conclusions Infected granulation wound could be successfully treated by FE compound enzyme.It created good conditions for covering with large sheet of auto split skin.Effective local complete debridement and auto skin grafting are essential in this treatment.
