Abstract

The paper elaborates the history and developmental stages of forestry mapping in our county.It also introduces the method and procedures of the cartography based on GIS software concerning the preparatory work,data collection,editor processing,map output and etc.The introduction of matrix technique to forestry mapping has greatly improved the precision,quality and efficiency of the cartography.
