On the Love for the Frontiers in the Poems of Poets Exiled to Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty

Abstract
Poets exiled to Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty wrote poems eulogizing scenic spots,such as the Tianshan Mountains,Pine Tree Pool,Barkul Lake,Heavenly Lake,Red Hill,Zhizhu Hill,Shuimogou,Syram Lake,Apple Valley and Ili River.These poems are imbued with rich poetic romance and traditional cultural awareness.This paper holds that the love for the frontier as revealed in these poems is conducive to national unity and state identity.
