Abstract
A solution for DC boost converter applied to subway or train is proposed.Using of the power correction circuit based on the high power factor PWM control chip L4981A,the function of DC converter to boost up high DC output is realized steadily and flexibly.The circuit principle is analyzed firstly,and then how to select the parameters about design is introduced.Finally,the analysis of experimental results of the circuit is given.The approach of design has many advantages,including simplified control,fewer semiconductor components,and low-price.It is especially suitable to low cost and high power applications.
