Abstract

This paper mainly examined on two rudiment but also controversial issues: the core area and the core stability. The results are as follows:(1) The core consists a whole trunk of lumbar-pelvic-hip,and is the middle part of the body.It is the middle areas between diaphragm and the pelvic floor muscles which includes 41 couples and one muscle group.Great core consists of hip, pelvis, thorax and spine between shoulder and hip, which has 55 couples and one muscle group.(2) The core stability system model was proposed and the core stability training functions are stabilizing the body posture and being the center of gravity, conducting, producing and reducing strength.(3) We need to improve explosive strength on the base of stability; It is important to develop specific strength through developing general strength;Core strength training is a fruitful boost for traditional strength training,it doesn't need to compare which is better than the other, what matter the most is to choose the right training content and methods according to the real circumstances.
