Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical rapid and low-costing repairing of the broken porcelain-fused-metal(PFM)crown due to the fracture of abutment and dowel.Methods The broken PFM crown due to the fracture of abutment and dowel in 12 cases were repaired by implanting prefabricated dowel which was covered with previous PFM crown.Results All cases were successful.Conclusions Original function can be reacquired through repairing for some unsuccessful PEM crown cases.
