Abstract
Objective:To investigate the changes of placental growth factor(PLGF) and soluble tyrosine kinase receptor 1(sFlt-1) levels in serum and urine of patients with preeclampsia and normal pregnant women, explore the relationship between changes of sFlt-1/PLGF ratios in serum and urine and degree of preeclampsia, and the correlation between levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in urine and levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in serum was also analyzed. Methods:Enzyme linked immunoassay(ELISA) was used to detect and compare sFlt-1/PLGF ratios in serum and urine from 25 patients with mild preeclampsia,20 patients with severe preeclampsia and 20 normal pregnant women of late pregnancy(control group),analyze the correlation between levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in urine and levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in serum in preeclampsia group and control group.Results:sFlt-1/ PLGF ratios in serum and urine of control group were significantly lower than those of mild preeclampsia group,sFlt-1/PLGF ratios in serum and urine of mild preeclampsia group were significantly lower than those of severe preeclampsia group, there was significant difference among the three groups(P0.05);there was a positive correlation between levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in urine and levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in serum. Conclusion:There is correlation between sFlt-1/PLGF ratios in urine and serum and degree of preeclampsia in pregnant women, and there is a positive correlation between levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in urine and levels of PLGF and sFlt-1 in serum, detection of sFlt-1/PLGF ratio in serum may be replaced by detection of sFlt-1/PLGF ratio in urine in order to predict the occurrence of preeclampsia.
