Abstract
Performance and several realizing methods of PCI bus were introduced.Special interface chip PCI9054 was used in PCI in-terface unit for reducing hardware realization periods.A design method of footprint acquisition card based on PCI bus was presented by analyzing PCI9054's work modes,bust mode of data transfer and function of EEPROM.Through studying configuration method and timing of I2C bus,footprint camera was controlled by I2C bus simulated in FPGA to acquire suitable footprint data for corresponding iden-tification arithmetic.DriverStudio is a recommended developing tool to design PCI driver and the system project was provided.
