Abstract
Methanol extracts of 64 species of plants were screened for in vitro antifungal activity against Peronophythora litchii Chen ex Ko et al.and Colletotrichum musae (Berk.et Curt.) Arx.Among them,30 plant extracts,at a mass concentration of 0.01 g/mL,showed more than 50% inhibitory rates to the mycelial growth of Peronophythora litchii,so did 26 plant extracts to the sporangia germination of the fungus;18 plant ex- tracts showed more than 50% inhibitory rates to the mycelial growth of Colletotrichum musae,so did 6 plant extracts to the spore germination of the fungus. The methanol ex- tracts of Tupistra chienensis Bak.and Xanthinum sibiricum Patrin,at a mass concentra- tion of 0.01g/mL,had more than 50% inhibitory rates to the mycelial growth and spore germination of both phytopathogenic fungi.
