Abstract
Adopting the sampling method, the authors have completely investigated the vegetation of Xiaozhaizigou-Piankou Natural Reserve. By separating and translating satellite photograph and taking using of field investigative data,the authors have basically mastered the types and features of vegetation distribution in the natural reserve. The result shows that the type of vegetation is rather abundant and the vegetation is preserved well in the reserve. There are five vegetation type groups, eleven vegetation types, seventeen formation-groups and twenty-five formations.
