Abstract
Objective This paper aims to study distributions of Boltonratios among Class Ⅲ malocclusion group. Methods Bolton tooth size analysis were made to 120 permanent models in Angle's ClassⅢ malocclusion andnormal occlusion. Results In Angle's ClassⅢ malocclusion Bolton index's means of males was larger than that of the females. The number of patients in the Bolton normal group was the most,it was the least in the Bolton big group.Statistically significant differences were found between class Ⅲ and normal occlusion inthe anterior and overall ratios. Conclusion It suggests that big Bolton ratios may be one of important factors in the cause of Angle's class Ⅲ malocclusion.
