Abstract
This paper introduces a kind of automatic interleaving approach. In this new approach,a kind of distributed control circuit is adopted, which makes the system having the ability of automatically accommodating variables of converter cells and high tolerance of subsystem failures.Since no other wires between the cells are needed except the input/output buses, the system possesses higher stability compared with some traditional methods. In this paper, the main circuit structure,as well as the block diagram of the control circuit are illustrated. The principle of the automatic interleaving without interleaving bus is described in detail.A three-cell DC/DC converter prototype dasign on mentioned approach has been developed and some experiments have been made. The experimental results show that the approach is valid.
