Abstract
Take No.6 coal seam of Zhangbei Coal Mine as the engineering background,the theoretical calculations are adopted to obtaine a reasonable coal pillar width in driving roadway along gob,and numerical simulation software FLAC2D is used to analyse variation of the stress of the roadway between two groups and displacement of the roof and roadway's sides under the conditions of different widths of coal pillar on the driving roadway along goaf.The actual reference of coal pillar width is obtained for the project of driving roadway along gob.
