Abstract

Taoism is one of the gems in philosophy of ancient China.In Chun-qiu Period,the book of Lao-zi appearance marks the emergence of Taoism.After it,theZhuang zi,Li zi,Guanzi,Huainanzi and other books is further elucidation and inheritance about Taoism,emphasizing thatThe law of Nature does nothing but do everything,The law is from Nature,everything is from the existence,the existenceis from nihility.These have been highly regarded by future generations.Well-known historian of Chinese science Joseph Needham in hisHistory of Science and Technology of Chinastressed that:Taoism is foundation about China's science and technology.studding Taoist ideology is important for the understanding of all Science and Technology of China.Taoist doctrine has a tremendous impact on not only philosophy and politics,but also development of Chinese medicine.
