Research on Chinese People's View on Japan

Since 1990s,Chinese scholars have gradually explored the formation,change,characteristics and future development of Chinese people's view on Japan. The views on Japan are classified into that of major statesmen in contemporary China, of Chinese Communist Party, of domestic media and intellectual circles,and of the general public. Explorations are also made into the media and cultural factors affecting Chinese people's view on Japan, the necessity of mutual understanding,and new thoughts about Japan. It is concluded that in the future,cooperation from different departments is needed so as to achieve interdisciplinary conformation,and attention should be paid to innovations in study methods and study content.
