A Study on the related factors of pelvic lymph nodes metastasis in patients with cervical carcinoma

Abstract

Objective To explore the features and risk factors of pelvic lymph node metastasis in cervical cancer, to provide the basis for individual therapy for the patients with cervical carcinoma.Methods Clinical data of 467 cervical cancer patients who underwent radical hysterectomy and bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy were analyzed retrospectively. The risk factors for pelvic lymph node metastasis were evaluated by the way of univariate 2statsistic analysis and binary logistic regression analysis.Results The incidence of positive pelvic lymph node of the 467 patients was 19.10% with the obturator lymph nodes most involved . Clinical stage, SCCAg 4 μg/L before treatment, deep stromal invasion and parametrium invasion were the independent risk factors for pelvic lymph node metastasis.Conclusions The obturator lymph node was most often involved of metastasis. Study on risk factors of pelvic lymph node metastasis in cervical carcinoma can provide references for individualized treatment.
