The Testing Research of River Bank Protecting Project for Gan Lanba River Reach of Lanchang Mekon River

The paper is based on detailed analysis of the cause for the cave of Gan Lanba river bank of Lanchang Mekon River.It is suggested that the control of flow direction median during the low water level period plays a leading role in the river bank.Training considering navigation,flood proof and bank paving comprechensively,through Model testing research various constructing methods adopted according to this regulation is proved to be practicable.
