On the Women Poets in Huizhou in Qing Dynasty

Abstract

The Qing Dynasty of China witnessed a prosperity of women poetry in the area of Huizhou,Anhui province.There emerged a great number of women poets of that time.The essay examines the number,personal information,and works of these poets in two pools,the Huizhou natives and the quasi-Huizhous.It will also analyze the cultural heritage of them at large,and offers new perceptions.
