Deng Xiaoping's Formulation on the Relation between Socialism and Capitalism

Deng Xiaoping gave a formulation in detail on the relation between socialism and capitalism and put forward the countermeasures China should take,breaking through the traditional concept,widening the space for development of socialism,and injecting vitality and vigour into the modernization drive in China.His formulation tells us that with a view to correct understanding of the relation between socialism and capitalism,we must,first of all,estimate the new changes in modern capitalism,be bold in facing the new situation socialism is faced with,uphold the ideological line and method of emancipting minds and seeking truth from facts,and firmly take the socialist path proceeding from the country's reality.
