Abstract

Corn dry distillers grains belongs to protein feed. It has the disadvantages in practical use including huge energy consumption for drying and low nutritional value after drying. In U.S.A, about 60 % of corn dry distillers grains is DDGS, mainly used for domestic consumption and export; other 40 % is WDSG, directly used as livestock feed around the alcohol plant. In China, most of the produced and the consumed corn dry distillers grains is DDGS. Accordingly, the utilization of WDGS has huge market potentials.(Tran. by YUE Yang)
