Abstract
To understand the Nano-CuO dispersant performance in aqueous medium, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and polyethylene glycol are commonly used as Nano-materials dispersant. Using magnetic stirring and ultrasonic vibration combining dispersant prepared Nano-CuO suspensions, their effects on the Nano-CuO suspension performance are studied. The results showed that magnetic stirring and ultrasonic vibration have a certain effect on Nano-CuO in the aqueous dispersion medium, but can't significantly improve the dispersion stability of the suspension, and adding a dose of dispersing agent plays crucial role on the dispersion stability of the suspension. Magnetic stirring 30 min, ultrasonic vibration for 60 min and the mass fraction of 0. 05% of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, for a 0. 2% suspension of Nano-CuO have the best dispersion stability.
