Abstract
To study the body weight growth characteristics of Henan fat-tailed sheep, the body weight growth characteristics were fitted by four non-linear fitted models(Von Bertalanffy, Gompertz, logistic, power function) according to the actually observed numerical value. Analyzing and comparing found that Gompertz and logistic fitting-curve have a good fitting of precision with the growth characteristics of Henan fat-tailed sheep. The extensive feeding and management could lead to low weight gain after weaning. The suitable breeding age is 211~240 days according to regression equation.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
