Abstract
Objective To improve the emergency rescue measures against public health events. Methods The experience of emergency rescue and medical treatments for three public health events occurred in the Shiyan City in March 2006 were reviewed retrospectively and the gain and loss were analyzed. Results Three public health events were successfully managed through the current emergency rescue system, but there were still some shortages existed. Conclusion The medical treatment and emergency rescue measures should be taken rapidly, efficiently and orderly to minimize casualties and harms to human.
