Effects of Seedling Age and Seeding Rate on Yield Traits of Rice Zhongyou 281

Abstract

Effects of different seeding rate and seedling age on yield of Zhongyou 281 were studied in this paper. The results showed that yield was significantly affected by seeding rate and seedling age: when seedling age in the range of 25, 30 and 35 days, the younger the seedling age, the higher the yield; when the seeding rate was in the range of 0.15 ～ 0.45 t/hm2, the less the seeding rate, the higher the yield. The optimum treatment was seedling age of 25 days combined with seeding rate of 0.15 t/hm2.
