Chen Yun's Opinion towards Mao Zedong and Mao Zedong Thought

During Agrarian Revolutionary War and Sino-Japanese War,Chen Yun then regarded Mao Zedong as the flag of Chinese revolution. In March 1981,when he was talking with drafters of document Resolution on Certain Questions in History of Our Party since Founding of People's Republic of China,he pointed out that Mao Zedong had cultivated a generation of people. At same time,he also made a unique contribution to how to comment on Mao Zedong and Mao Zedong Thought,how to give correct evaluation of merits and demerits of Mao Zedong,how to adhere to guiding position of Mao Zedong and how to maintain image of Mao Zedong.His opinion towards Mao Zedong and Mao Zedong Thought brought a lot of inspiration to future generations,such as Mao Zedong Thought is not equal to thoughts of Mao Zedong himself;evaluation of CPC's leaders should follow ideological line of seeking truth from facts;and put emphasis on capability of research and decision-making.
