As a principle in civil law,the principle of no fault liability is of great significance in imputing civil liability.The principle of strict liability in Anglo-American law belongs to an nearly equals to the category of no fault liability.The principle of no fault liability is established in the field of tort owing to the increasing industrial disaster.Then the free economy situation makes the principle established in the field of contract.There are deep theoretical bases in establishing the principle of no fault liability in the common law and Anglo-American law.
