Abstract
Based on the core observation and the logging interpretation,through statistical analysis of petrophysical data and logging data,it’s pointed out that sedimentary type of Chang 61 reservoir in Xinzhai area is mainly the front-delta deposition in braided river delta sedimentary system.And four microfacies types include subaqueous distributary channel,mouth-bar,subaqueous natural barrier,subaqueous interdistributary embayment.In this paper,characteristics of all kinds of the sedimentary facies were analyzed,the lateral distribution of these depositional microfacies was predicted.The results show that subaqueous distributary channel is the primarily microfacies of the Chang 6 reservoir and the most beneficial reservoir.
