Abstract
Withstanding external pressure or internal pressure of the pressure hull,in order to increase the stiffness of the shell, but without much increase in the thickness of the shell,we usually increase the inner surface of the shell in the pressure or the outer surface of stiffener. In the end whether the inner surface of the ribs or the outer surface of ribs can better enhance the stiffness of the shell,by means of ANSYS Workbench simulation software can be more clarity to the conclusion.
