Abstract

Benzotriazole(BTAH) has been known to be a very effective inhibitor of corrosion for copper and its alloys.Although there are many studies on the inhibition action of BTAH,the inhibition mechanism is still not completely understood.The research on the inhibition action of BTAH is summarized,which provides the basis for developing new and more effective corrosion inhibitors.
