A Preliminary Analysis of Donne's Love Vision

This article aims at the analysis of Donne's love concept in John Donne's love poetry from three perspectives:the compliment and condemning of his mistress constitute his contradictory attitude toward women,the clear demand for exclusive love and open discus sion of sexual love display a humanist attitude toward love,the injection of abstract images into love poetry reflects a solemn thinking over love and an everything-is-commonly-connected philosophical love concept.The three aspects come to a conclusion that Donne is after the ultimate end of love.
