Abstract
Plackett-Burman design was applied to evaluate three important factors affecting glutathione production,which was glucose,peptone and potassium dihydrogen phosphate.Then the Box-Behnken design and the quadratic regression analysis by MINTAB soft were applied to get the optimal levels of the main factors,and the optimal quality concentrations of the variables were obtained as follows: glucose 2.75%,peptone 3.03% and potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.11%.Under the optimal conditions,the yield of glutathione improved by 48.60% from 98.94 mg/L to 147.02 mg/L.
